The Analog Interface Panel (AIP) is a critical surface unit designed to support downhole tool string operations within Sondex well logging systems. Its primary functions include supplying stable and regulated power to the downhole tool string, as well as serving as the surface-side component of the amplification and filtering system between the downhole tools and the Data Interface Unit (DIU). The AIP integrates an internal power supply, user-friendly status displays, and an analog interface section equipped with amplification and filtering circuitry, enabling accurate conditioning and delivery of CCL and CCL-GR signals for reliable data acquisition.
